Artist's Description
The Famous "Horno Crosses" adorn a hilltop overlooking the center of Camp Pendleton,and serve as a sanctum for Marines honoring their fallen brothers and sisters. The first cross was set up by a small group of Marines with 2nd Battalion 1st Marines, in 2003. While it's hard to reach, many make the trek up the steep hill and have left momentos over the years
About Frank Sellin
Marine Corps Infantry Sergeant turned Amateur Photographer. He enjoys taking pictures of aviation , scenic views, animals or just anything that catches his eye. Travels around Southern California to take pictures while supporting different Veteran Organizations.
